This Ocean Boards is made from local New Brunswick Maple and was hand crafted locally. Just like the resin work, every piece is one of a kind.
The wood was finished using a food grade mineral oil and a mixture of natural waxes. Also, the resin I use is safe to be in contact with food as it has passed food safety tests.
Crafted from a single piece of exquisite New Brunswick wood, these artisanal boards are a testament to the beauty of natural raw materials. Each board is unique, showcasing some natural distinctive marks that add character and charm. Over time and depending of the environment, these boards which are made from one single piece of wood (not laminated) may develop a slight cupping. This is not a sign of a defective product but of its natural trait.
Ocean Boards are very versatile. They can be used to display and serve cheese, sushi, charcuterie, desserts, appetizers and more. Create beautiful displays that will stand out at any occasion.
Bring the ocean to your home.
-Only cut on the wood surface (not on the resin as it will score)
-Wash by hand with a warm soapy cloth
-Do not place anything hot on the resin part of the board
